What is a MicroPDF417 barcode?
MicroPDF417 is a smaller version of PDF417, defined in ISO/IEC 24728. It has 1 to 4 data columns and uses row address patterns instead of the large start and stop patterns of PDF417, so it fits a modest amount of data into a much smaller area.
It suits short data on small items and labels where a full PDF417 would be too big. It is also the basis of the CC-A and CC-B components used in GS1 Composite barcodes. MicroPDF417 can hold up to 150 bytes, 250 alphanumeric characters or 366 digits.
What data can MicroPDF417 hold?
Short text or data, up to 150 bytes. We warn you as you get close to the limit.
Recommended size
Keep a quiet zone of at least one module on every side and print with enough resolution for the small modules. Read it with a 2D imaging scanner.
