What is a Amazon FNSKU Label barcode?

An FNSKU (Fulfillment Network Stock Keeping Unit) is the code Amazon uses to identify your units in its fulfillment centers. FBA sellers put an FNSKU label on each unit so Amazon can link it to their seller account. This preset makes the barcode in the format Amazon expects.

The FNSKU is 10 uppercase letters and digits, and Amazon labels show it as a Code 128 barcode. You find it in Seller Central for each product; it usually starts with X0, or B0 when Amazon uses your ASIN. Code 128 has its own check character, so there is no check digit for you to add.

What data can Amazon FNSKU Label hold?

Exactly 10 uppercase letters and digits, for example X00ABCD1EF. We offer to convert lowercase to uppercase, and warn you if the code doesn’t start with X0 or B0.

Recommended size

Amazon accepts FNSKU labels from 1 x 2 inches up to 2 x 3 inches (about 25 x 51 mm to 51 x 76 mm). Use white, removable labels and cover any other barcodes on the product.
